THe Raising the Barre Capital Campaign

ballet tech cincinnati is embarking on a capital campaign, Raising the Barre, to raise $200,000 to equip our new home with dance studios, dressing rooms, offices, Community Theater and private event space. We are raising funds to acquire equipment and furnishings to support classes and programming. Our new workd Headquarters will be located at 6543 Montgomery Rd in Kennedy Heights. ballet tech cincinnati will become a co-anchor with strategic collaboration partner Kennedy Heights Arts Center in the new Montgomery Road Corridor Arts District. The Arts District will revitalize and rejuvenate the two mile Montgomery Road corridor with performing and visual arts, literary arts, and community activities. Our new Headquarters, the Former Mr. Kelley’s building, which has been vacant for over twelve years, and the site of several incidents, will become the hub of positive and family oriented arts activities, including classes for children and adults in dance, gymnastics, sewing, summer performing arts camp for youth, provide theater performance space for ourselves and other community arts organizations, as well as literacy programming in partnership with Success by Six Shared Reading Initiative through our Leaping for Literacy initiative. We look forward to making the area more vital and vibrant and create a better quality of life for the residents of the area. In addition, the ballet tech cincinnati Community Theater will provide much needed quality performance space for local theater, dance and music groups and a venue for private events.
